The primary domain is the domain that customers will see in the address bar when browsing your online store. It is your main website address.
- Go to My Store>General>Domain>Domains connected to your stores.
- Select one of the domains connected to your store.
- Click Set primary domain.
- Select the domain you wish to set as your primary domain and click Save.
Your primary domain will be marked as Primary in the domain list.
Why you need to set a primary domain
Your primary domain is the domain that is most used for your store. This domain is also used as your representative domain by search engines in the process of search engine optimization (SEO).
