Enabling store pickup by product

If a customer orders products that are not available for store pickup, a shipping carrier must be selected for the order to be processed correctly.

Per-product shipping fee

  1. Go to My Store>Shipping>Shipping/Returns.
  2. Select Yes for Enable per-product shipping fee. Once enabled, you will have the option to set up a product-specific shipping fee when creating/editing a product in Products>Add/Edit product>Shipping information. If you disable this feature, you will not have Apply per-product settings as an option in Products>Add/Edit product>Shipping information. In this case, the shipping fee set in My Store>Shipping>Shipping/Returns will be applied to all of your products.
  3. Calculate per-product fee: In the case a customer orders multiple items of the same product, select whether you want to charge your shipping fee once based on the product or multiple times based on the number of variants ordered.
  4. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Using the per-product shipping fee feature

  • If you disable this feature, your default shipping fee will also be applied to all the products that had an individual shipping fee.
  • Once you enable this feature, the shopping cart and order summary's display order will change. It will go from following the order in which products were added to the shopping cart to being grouped by shipping fee setting.

Supplier shipping fee

You can apply a supplier shipping fee for all suppliers or specific suppliers.

  1. Go to My Store>Shipping>Shipping/Returns.
  2. Select Yes for Apply shipping preferences set by supplier.
  3. Select whether you want to allow a supplier shipping fee for all suppliers or for specific suppliers only.
  4. Select an option for Charge shipping fee.

    Info

    • If you select Based on order total, the shipping fee is calculated based on the sum of both your products and the supplier's products.
    • If you select Based on separate shipping fee calculation criteria for admin and supplier, your default shipping fee is calculated based on your products, the supplier shipping fee is based on the supplier’s products, and both shipping fees are combined.
  5. Select the amount based on which your regional surcharge is calculated when a customer purchases both your products and supplier products.

    Based on admin settings

    • The regional surcharge you set in My Store>Shipping>Shipping zones is also applied to the supplier’s products.
    • The regional surcharge rate set by the head admin will override any regional surcharges set by suppliers.

    Based on supplier settings

    • Suppliers can set and charge their own regional surcharges.
    • Regional surcharges can be set by logging in to the supplier's admin page and going to My Store>Shipping>Shipping zones.
  6. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Priority settings for free shipping

You can make the shipping fee free when a product eligible for free shipping is ordered together with a product that has an individual shipping fee or a supplier shipping fee.

  1. Go to My Store>Shipping>Shipping/Returns.
  2. Select the shipping rate type you wish to override with free shipping.
  3. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Priority settings for free shipping prevails over

Per-product shipping fee
If you check Per-product shipping fee, priority settings for free shipping will be applied as follows:

  • Product with free default shipping + Product with per-product shipping fee = Free shipping
  • Product with default shipping fee + Product with free per-product shipping = Free shipping

Supplier shipping fee
If you check Supplier shipping fee, priority settings for free shipping will be applied as follows:

  • Product with free default shipping + Product with supplier shipping fee = Free shipping
  • Product with default shipping fee + Product with free supplier shipping fee = Default shipping fee

Examples
Priority settings: Per-product shipping fee is checked and Supplier shipping fee is unchecked.

Products

  • Product A: Free default shipping
  • Product B: Per-product shipping
  • Product C: Supplier shipping & Free shipping when the purchase amount meets the minimum purchase amount for free shipping
  1. Products A + B: Free shipping
Because product A is eligible for free shipping, free shipping overrides Product B's per-product shipping.
  2. Products A + C: Supplier shipping fee
Product C's supplier shipping fee is charged because Supplier shipping fee is unchecked.
  3. Products B + C: Per-product shipping fee
Product C's price is greater than the minimum purchase amount, so shipping is free. However, as the product is not eligible for free delivery, Product B’s per-product shipping fee is charged.

International shipping

  1. Go to My Store>Shipping>Shipping/Returns.
  2. Product weight: Enter the total weight of packed order.
This will be used as the default value when you add/edit products.
You can change each product's weight individually or change all product weights at once in Products>Products>Bulk edit product descriptions.
  3. HS code: Click [+] to add HS codes by country.

    What is HS code?

    • HS code refers to an international product nomenclature developed by the WCO (World Customs Organization) that describes the type of goods shipped using a six-digit identification code. A HS code is used as a basis for customs tariffs and the collection of international trade statistics.
    • All countries use a common six-digit code and each country has its own additional code.
    • You must enter an additional code in the input box next to the HS code box if you are sending an order to countries other than South Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
  4. Shipping countries: You can change the order of available shipping countries or select Ship to all countries to show the whole country list to customers on the checkout page.
  5. Charge additional handling fee: You can add other types of additional fees that may be charged to the customer as part of the shipping fee. Price range and additional handling fee for international shipping should be determined based on the sum of [Order total + Shipping fee] before applying discounts.

    Note

Please note that setting abnormally high additional handling fees may result in refund requests from customers due to the increased customs duties.

  6. Product information in English for customs clearance: This information will be used as product information for overseas customs clearance. If you select Apply common format, the common format will be applied to all countries. You can also enter a different description for every country by selecting Apply different format by country.

    Info

    • You can use variables for the classification ([:category:]), material (English) ([:material:]), and fabric ([:fabric:]) details of each product in the overseas customs clearance information.
    • You can also input additional information along with these variables. We recommend that you enter the name of your online store in English in front of the variables for customs clearance.
    • If you change the Shipping country to Do not limit after entering information for each country, information set for a different country may appear in the customs clearance details of certain order forms.
    • In this case, information entered in Common will be applied.

    Example

    • If [:category:] [:material:] - [:fabric:] is entered, the product's information will be displayed as “Women Skirt Cotton 100% - Knit”.
  7. Default shipping country: Select which country will be displayed by default in the shipping information field on the checkout page.
The default shipping country will only be applied if there is no default shipping address or customer information.
