To ensure smooth system operations, it is important to manage the number of products and categories in your store.
Here's how you can tidy up unnecessary items with ease.

- Go to ProductsProduct list.
-
Use the following search filters to find products to delete
- Display status: Not on display
- Product status: Not for sale - Select products that you want to remove from the results and click Delete.
- Deleted products will be moved to Products>Manage products>Removed products.
Permanently deleting removed products

- Go to ProductsManage productsRemoved products and click Delete all products.
- This action will permanently delete all removed products on the list at once.
- If you click Delete all products, products will be deleted in sequence from next morning to ensure stable service operations.
- You can click Cancel deletion before the deletion process starts next morning.
- Once deletion starts, the button name will change to Deletion in progress, and you will no longer be able to cancel the deletion.
- If you select specific products from the list and delete them, they will be permanently deleted right away.
- You cannot restore products that have been permanently deleted.
Deleting unused categories
- Once the number of categories you have added is close to or has exceeded the limit, an alert notification will appear in ProductsManage categoriesProduct categories.
- Click Delete hidden categories on the notification.
- You will see a new window with a list of categories that have no products added and are set as Not on display for all stores, including localized stores.

- You cannot restore categories once they have been deleted.
